a + J O Y is a company that provides design and styling services for events, such as, weddings, showers and parties. Our goal is to make your event a distinct reflection of you.
More and more, people want their events to look like they belong in the pages of a magazine. We provide design and creative direction for clients seeking the most beautiful, cohesive and memorable invitations and events.
Share with us your vision and depending upon your needs, services range from creating custom designed invitations to complete event design and creation.
CUSTOM INVITATION DESIGN
Guided by your vision, a + J O Y offers custom invitations to create the perfect statement for any special occasion.
ALL INVITATION SUITES INCLUDE :
• invitation
• rsvp with envelope or rsvp postcard
• outer envelope with return address
• add on suggestions to maximize design
ADD ON’S INCLUDE :
• insert of your choice { info card, map, etc. }
• corresponding Save The Dates
• thank you cards
• customized paper
• envelope liners- found paper or custom designed
• calligraphy
• boxes, enclosures, and fillers
• twine, ribbons, wire, fabric, or other types of “tie on’s”
• sewing
• custom matching envelope labels or guest address printed directly on envelope
• complete assembly

STYLING
We want to know you, collaborate with you, and take the vision you have imagined for your special day beyond your expectations. We will shop for decor, create table settings, add small details, do your set up, style your wedding and wow your guests.
{ OPTION ONE }
For the client who would like to remain hands off and worry free. a + J O Y will collaborate with you to develop and coordinate all design & visual elements to ensure perfect continuity for your event.
INCLUDES :
• consultations
• paper goods { invitations, place cards, etc. }
• decor { table settings, flowers, etc. }
• details { colors, attire, etc. }
{ OPTION TWO }
A budget friendly and DIY approach for a client who would like to be more hands on. a + J O Y will refine all ideas with an inspiration board and create a physical example of the table setting. A guide will be created for the client of where all the resources are from and any how-to's or instructions from the physical example.

Ashley is a designer living in the lovely Midwest. She is a full-time mother to a beautiful little lady, a full-time wife to a handsome husband and overflowing with creative ideas at all times.
While studying graphic design at The University of Kansas, Ashley interned at Willoughby Design Group in Kansas City and kate spade in New York City. Once graduated, she joined a greeting card company.
Ashley is known for her clean design aesthetic with a touch of fun. She loves unique color combinations and pretty ribbons. She creates the kind of invitations that people look at more than once, and save because they are just so dang neat. Ashley creates events that are personal and filled with lovely little unexpected details that wow the socks off the clients and guests.
