i recently sent in my ideal thanksgiving table to dwell studio for a thanksgiving table contest they are hosting. cross your fingers i am one of the top 5.

one of my dear friends had a surprise engagement party thrown for her by her very own fiance. i helped with some of the decor.

these necklaces by confetti system at urban outfitters are so amazing and would be great gifts for your stylish family member or friend. confetti system is an amazing company filled with beautiful products. i am adding the necklace in the middle to my christmas list.

also, i was thinking ropes & knots could be such a beautiful theme carried out in a wedding. i am going to have to look into that idea.

i recently did invites for my big bro's wedding. his fiance was the best client ever. i loved that she knew what she wanted, but was always open to ideas. oh, and so appreciative.

they were married in phoenix on the grounds of a home built by frank lloyd wright. it was a beautiful setting. my new sis-in-law suggested i share with you all how my little mind works and where the inspiration for the invitations came from. so, i did a little research and based them off of a pattern that
mr. wright created.


the pattern, which became the inspiration for the entire wedding suite.

as you know, i have a slight obsession with letters. well, since the little lady has been born i collect the letter A. her collection is getting nice and big. i added this one from anthropologie yesterday. these would also look way too cute tied to presents, around napkins or just hanging in your christmas tree.

i would love to find one of these hanging on my door. i would love to hang one of these on someone else's door. i would love to hang these down a wedding aisle or off of chairs at the reception. so many options.

H O O R A Y

i enjoy a good challenge... so, i decided to get a little booth in the PWG fall show. i worked endlessly, while the baby slept, creating inspiration boards, invitations and styling set-ups. the day was so lovely. here are some of the highlights...

1. my friend and i got to catch up while working the booth... p.s everyone needs a friend like her. she is loyal, kind and so generous.
2. tons of nice compliments and positive feedback were shared with me throughout the day.
3. i met a super sweet girl who said she follows my blog. that was the best feeling ever.

if i met you at the show, it was a pleasure and i hope your wedding day is filled with love and simple planning.

p.s. i also have to give a shout out to my hubby. he built me some beautiful tables and was endlessly supportive.
